Annie Rhodes ⁴⁶⁵

  General Notes:

Bethel went with them on their honeymoon to Ireland and paid all expenses. Husband was killed in 1914 so Annie continued to live with her father and "got" most of his brass" Madge came into it when she died in 1950.
There was a post card sent to Bethel and her July 17 1909, c/o Calverly & Swire in Morecambe, with a picture of 5 year old Harriet Bancroft with a doll.
Madge wrote that she had just over £12 in the bank.

11/20/08 Letter 16 July 1906 to niece Ettie saying Annie is still at home aged 24.
9/4/09 Added birth place from FreeBMD. Note Bradford not Keighley like other kids.
12/29/09 Looking at birthplace Keighley or Bradford, there seem to be several Annie's or Ann's so it is not absolutely certain birth place was Bradford. Both 1891 and 1911 census clearly state birth location as Keighley

• 1901 Census Keighley Rhodes Bethel: Annie Rhodes daug aged 19, Dress maker, born Keighley, 31 Mar 1901, 274 Skipton Rd, Keighley.

• 1911 Census Keighley Rhodes Bethel: Annie Rhodes daug aged 29, single house keeper domestic, born Kieghley, 2 Apr 1911, 274 Beechcliffe, Keighley, Yorkshire. ⁴⁶⁹

• Stroke: Letter from Madge Tan Tan had a stroke, 18 May 1950, Morecambe, Lancashire, England.

Annie married Thomas on 26 May 1913 in Congregational church, Otley, Yorks, England.⁴⁶⁴ (Thomas Wood was born in 1885 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England and died on 23 Oct 1917 in Flanders, France ⁴⁷⁰.)
