bullet  General Notes:

Quote from 21st Dec 1972 Letter HR Pick to S. Pick.
One tale handed down was that my great grandfather Baldwin married my great grandmother ? Bentley after eloping from a very early experimental coed Quaker boarding school at Fulneck. He was from Dublin, she from the Keighley area. The school was mentioned in history of education when I learned about it in my dip ed course I didn't know that my great grandparents had eloped from it!
(Note added 11/21/08 that the above seems ficticous as Fulneck has no record of her, Her marriage certificate says "of age" and she made a mark, possibly indicating no education)
The 1891 census has a Hannah Baldwin living with Arthur Taylor listed as a mother-in-law in Horton on park rd. See jpg file. This was later discarded as being a Bentley that was not Ann.
1881 Census, Ann Baldwin aged 58, Mother in Law and visitor widow, is listed living with Bethel
FreeBMD shows a death in Sept 1887 Bradford of a Ann Baldwin. (1/20/2010...THIS IS INCORRECT- Wrong Ann Baldwin)
1841 Census living with father and Hugh in Bradford aged 20
1851 Census living in Lidget Green aged aged 30
1861 Census shows age as 39, worsted weaver, born in Bradford. Changed birth year from 1823 to 1822 and then to 1821
11/21/08 IGI Batch C085871 for Bentley shows a birth 02 SEP 1820 and Christening 28 JUN 1837 Bethel Primitive Methodist, Great Horton, Yorkshire, England. Shows sibling Jabez born 1816.
1/20/2010 Changed death year as found her on 1891 and 1901 census living with sun Abram.
