Added 9/2/09 1891 census James W aged 6,Scholar , living on 193 Hospital Rd, Hammerwich, Lichfield, born Burntwood. freeBMD had James William Sep 1884 Lichfield
1901 census 17 club servant in Birmingham.
Not sure if on 1911 census there are 3 but none in Birmingham.
10/9/09. Katy Wright wrote to say he never married.

• 1891 Census Hammerwich, Chilton: James W Chilton,son single aged 6, scholar born Burntwood Staffs, 5 Apr 1891, Hospital Rd, Hammerwich, Lichfield, Staffs, England. ¹⁶⁵⁴

• 1901 Census Birmingham Chilton James W: James W Chilton aged 17 single Servant Club Servant born stafs, wolverhampton, Apr 1901, 889 Union Club Colmore row, Birmingham. ¹⁶⁵⁵ Not sure if this is the correct census but it is the only one that could be found. In 1891 and 1901 there is only one James W Chilton born Staffs

• 1911 Census Hammerwich Chilton William: James William Chilton son aged 26 single carpenter house born Burtwood Staffs, 2 Apr 1911, Hospital Rd, Hammerwich, Lichfield, Staffs, England. ¹⁶⁵⁶
