  Research Notes:

Message from Joan at Durham on 4/13/04 said the name of the mother was Susannah Kerr but I dispute this from other information.

Her birth certifcate shows Susan Hannah Kell, daughter of Anthony (occupation Stone Mason) and Isabella Kell, previously Twigg, formely Nicholson.

The 1861 Census had Liusa Thomas and Wegg as mothers maiden name.

Some information on the web shows mother as Isabella Johnson but this is in contradiction to birth certificate which I have.

On 91 census but Susannah is travelling with Rosa and Julia and are stopping in an inn in Morpeth run by Annie E Wonders B1865. Later found that this was her sister-in-law, Annie Elizabeth Pick.
5/6/09 added: On 1911 census Susannah living in Newcastle aged 53. Free BMD shows a death in Newcastle in Dec 1926 aged 68.

Susan married William Pick, son of John Pick and Rose Anne McGinness, on 17 Sep 1877 in Sunderland, Durham, England.³⁹ (William Pick was born on 13 Apr 1855 in Chester Le Street, Durham, England, christened on 15 Jul 1855 in Chester Le Street, Durham, England and died in Mar 1932 in Newcastle upon Tyne, , Northumberland, England.)
