Sarah Bilsby

Sarah is shown on the 1881 census visiting Eliza and there is a memorial in Hatfield Carside showing her death at the age of 102.

Memorial given by Christine Hemsworth via Stainforth site:
In affectionate remebrance of James Travis of Carside who departed this life Octbr 11th 1871 aged 71 years. Also of Sarah the wife of the above who entered into rest January 6th 1906 aged 102 years.
Census info 51 to 71, see James but couldn't find anything on '41 census.
10/21/08 Found a reference to a Bilsby as a spinster aunt Betsy. Found Sarah listed as BILIBY in IGI batch C028621 for christening.
11/9/09 At sometime in the past I came across Ramskir and thought there was a relationship, but can't see any note: This site has a will:

1881 census has Betsy Billsby (aunt staying with Frederic Ramskir (1852))

11/26/09 found reference to George Romskir and his wife Sarah (both deceased) leaving property to son George Ramskir in National archives. GD 423 1 May 1843

(James Travis was born on 30 May 1800 in Barnby Dun, Yorks, England ¹¹³⁵, christened on 29 Jun 1800 in Barnby Dun, Yorks, England, died on 11 Oct 1871 in Thorne, Yorks, England and was buried in Hatfield, Nr Doncaster, Yorks England.)
