There is no Elizabeth Pick birth around 1879 but there is a Elizabeth Telfer birth in Mar 1879 in Bellingham, the registration district for Birtley. However that would make 12 at census time In the 1881 census there is no Elizabeth Telfor shown with birth in Birtley.
There are TWO Birtley's one in Northumberland and one in Durham
